Rahila
Hello! I’m Rahila, and I joined the Brooksward Friends Group to connect with like-minded parents and support our children’s education by organising fundraising events. I believe strong communication between parents and teachers is essential to a happy, supportive school community. I want to play an active role in my child’s education, working together with others to share ideas, support our teachers, and help make a positive difference for all our children.

Hi, I’m Keri and I joined the BFG because I really value the sense of community we have at our school and so I wanted to contribute my bit and get more involved. My child is part of this school so for me, anything I can do to make his school experience even better also helps make nit better for all the other children too. I’m really happy to be part of the BFG, to give something back to a community that means so much to us!

Hi I’m Anita and I have been part of the Brooksward community for the past 6 years. The BFG gives me the opportunity to be a spokesperson for the parents in my child’s class by putting forward any ideas and raising any concerns to school leaders.

I joined the parent’s forum to learn more about Brooksward and how best I can support my son on his learning journey. Having the opportunity to speak to and liaise with the school team and put forward ideas and suggestions helps me to better understand the context the school operates in, the challenges the team faces and what we as parents and carers can do, not just for the school but for the local community. Brooksward is a great school and my son is thriving here- where I can add value to support the continued success of the school I am committed to doing so, for all the stakeholders- us carers, the school team and the wider community.
